Who We Are

Here at Jo Hayes Stacking Dayz Foundation, we are driven to do our part in making our community and the world a better place.  In 2022, we took part in a wide range of activities that empower individuals and communities.  We strive to build productive relationships and make a positive impact with all of our pursuits.

As a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, we are dedicated to supporting and empowering at-risk youth to set goals, achieve their dreams, stay out of trouble and avoid the culture of street violence by "Stacking Dayz" one at a time.

We provide positive mentorship and guidance by instructing youth in football

and life-readiness skills to develop consistent discipline for a strong work ethic

to rise and become something great.

Are you ready to join us and create real transformation in the lives of youth?

Growing up, Jo often heard that he was too small to ever play competitive football on the varsity or college level.

But in spite of physical and mental challenges,

he was determined and focused on “Stacking Dayz”

one at a time with a goal to improve at least 1% daily with the encouragement of his village of family, coaches, and teachers.  It paid off...

He became a standout Wide Receiver in high school,

earned football scholarships, received

All-Conference, All-Region, and

All-American Team honors in college.

2022 Inaugural Hayes Stacking Dayz Youth Football Camp

Now Jo is paying it forward…

In 2022, he teamed up with friends Karon Prunty and

Pheldarius Payne to host the inaugural Hayes Stacking Dayz

Youth Football Camp with over 40 volunteers that included

peer collegiate-athletes, NFL players, and local coaches in Hampton Roads, Virginia. They mentored and instructed 80

camp participants in football and life-readiness skills

to help them set goals by "Stacking Dayz" one at a time

to achieve their dreams. The impact of that experience inspired him to start the Jo Hayes Stacking Dayz Foundation nonprofit organization in order to host the camp annually

without cost to participants because it is evident that

real lasting impact takes a village.
